How much is a deposit? 

We charge a £20 reservation deposit which is deducted off of your first bill, and then we charge a £50 security deposit which is refunded when the contract is terminated. 

When can I get access to my storage unit? 

You can get access to your self-storage unit during our open hours which are 8-4:30, Mon to Fri, and weekends by arrangement.. During this time you can have unlimited access to your unit so can you can come and go as much as you please!

What security is in place? 

Our site has 24hr CCTV, security lights and is bordered with tall fencing to ensure that the site is secure. A unique pin code is also required to enter through the gates. 

Do you provide insurance? 

We do not provide insurance, this is something that you as a customer has to sort. We recommend insurance companies such as sure wise and store and insure. However, some household insurance may already cover storing your belongings away from home, so be sure to check! 

What is required to rent a storage unit? 

In order to store with us we will need a form of ID and one type of bill, for example an energy bill. 

Why do I need to provide ID? 

For security reasons we need to keep a record of all active customers

What is the minimum rental period? 

The minimum rental period is 4 weeks, and we require at least 4 weeks notice if you are leaving us. 

What methods of payment are available? 

We accept card, cash, cheque and bank transfer. 

How much does storage cost? 

Depending on what size unit you go for, our prices start at £25 per week and go up to £65 per week for our larger sized units. 

Can I park onsite? 

We have free parking onsite for our customers, there is also free parking on the road that runs parallel with us, Prospect Way.

Can I run my business from my storage unit? 

Our storage units are ideal for storing stock as well as archiving but your business cannot operate directly from our storage facility. 

Is there anything I cannot store? 

On the contractual agreement, or Terms & Conditions there is an insert which states everything you CANNOT store in the units. However, if you are unsure about storing certain items always double check with us. 

The following items are not allowed to be stored

Food or perishable goods* Unless approved.

Firearms, explosives, weapons or ammunition.

Fireworks.

Combustible or flammable materials or liquids, for example, gas, paint, petrol, oil.

Anything unlawful, illegal substances, or goods illegally obtained.

Tyres or refrigerators in volume.

Anything which emits fumes, smells or odour.

Money in the form of cash or equivalent

Waste.

Birds, fish, animals, plants, genetic material or another living creature.

Compressed gases.

Lithium batteries.

Chemicals, radioactive materials, biological agents, toxic waste, asbestos or other materials of potentially dangerous nature.
